hidden nerve 2023

Applications are now open for Hidden Nerve 2023, facilitated by Marion (formerly ACT Writers).

“Through this online program comprising 11 x 90-minute monthly sessions, participants will learn from some of the most exciting Australian writers working today about the art of writing prose. The topics will include everything from word choice and how sentences work, to illuminating character and building dramatic tension through gesture, and more.”

I’ll be running one of the program’s sessions on close reading, during which we’ll discuss work by writers I admire.

Sessions will be conducted via Google Meet. Applications close 7 March.
