I have a letter in Samuel Johnson’s Dear Dad alongside a bunch of great people including Brooke Davis, Jeremy Lachlan, Michelle Law, Mark Brandi, Elizabeth Tan, Charlotte Guest, Laura Elvery, Clare Wright, Ryan Shelton, Sunny Leunig, Steve Waugh, John Williamson, Susie Youssef, Michala Banas, Glenn Shorrock, Shannon Noll, Hilde Hinton, Normie Rowe, Brian Mannix, Kathy Lette, Catherine Deveny, John Paul Young and more. I was probably meant to write to my dad but instead contributed a letter from Oedipus to his father.
The anthology is available now in bookstores and direct from the Love Your Sister website, in time for Father’s Day on 1 September. Sam and Love Your Sister are aiming to raise $10 million for cancer research. They are currently sitting just shy of $9.7 million. Proceeds from purchases of Dear Dad will help get them over the line.
