c is for cockroach
My new nature essay, ‘C is for Cockroach‘, has been published in the Sydney Review of Books. The essay is part of a series called the New Nature. Writers were asked to subvert the literary conventions of writing nature. This piece is a partial reboot of Kafka’s The Metamorphosis, and continues the story of Kanganoulipo.

flash fiction: ‘cross-section’
The following short story was first published in July 2017 in Vault magazine, Issue 19. It was part of a photo essay curated by Neha Kale, in which three authors—Miles Allinson, Max Olijnk and myself—responded to Larry Sultan’s incredible photographic memoir Pictures from Home.
