Happy New Year!
I was quite relieved to see the end of 2015 – a big year of behind-the-scenes work in preparation for a bumper 2016. I spent the months leading up to Christmas working madly on my first full-length short story collection for UQP.
We’re now done with the editing phase, and the book is almost ready to go to print. The collection features many of the stories I’ve published in various places over the last four years, as well as some brand new ones. It’s extremely satisfying seeing them all in one place.
As The Sydney Morning Herald reported today, the book will be launched in mid-2016, although I should clarify that although Civility Place was the collection’s working title, the title we have settled on for publication is Portable Curiosities.
